Why Dine by Design Catering?

Cooking is the way I make my living. It's also my passion. It's what propelled me lateish in life to abandon my safe career, take on a monstrous student loan and travel half way around the world to live alone and refine my craft. Cooking is not just what I do, it has become who I am.

My food is honest and homemade from scratch, with the highest quality ingredients I can find, whether it be Mom's meatloaf sandwich or Tournedos Rossini with Foie Gras. It's true for all cooks that their food is the product of their experiences and mine is no different; It is the product of my travels, my training, my curiosity and my hard work.

The cliche that one eats with the eyes before the stomach is a cliche for a very good reason and one I respect. My food is presented with elegance, style and the desire to provoke a reaction: of surprise, of amusement, of one more bite.

I'm like a dog with a bone when it comes to satisfying my clients, poring over cook books and magazines for what's new, what's hot, what's fun, scouring databases for the right recipe, the perfect dish. I'm not driven by the size of the paycheck or the exclusivity of the clientele; I'm driven by the knowledge that I have met or exceeded expectations and that I gave the gift of good food.

But in the end, it isn't just about the food: it's about the totality of the experience for the client. Was the caterer responsive? Did she really listen? Did she send the same list of tired old dishes? Was she concerned for the budget as well as the food? Did she share the client's enthusiasm for the success of the event?

If you want a cook for your party, you should probably hire a cook. If you want a partner with enthusiasm, commitment and passion, you should hire Dine by Design Catering, LLC.
